I’ve read the research that says watching the news all the time can drive us to extremes of emotion . Anger frustration, bewilderment and I think most of us will have ridden the vicissitudes of those over the last few weeks . So much suffering and so much greed . We can all make a difference to our wellbeing and that of others by showing small acts of kindness and generosity . Together we are bigger Than the lunatics . But only together !

hope life can be straightforward without the ambiguities complications and emotional muddles we create . But the complexities of layers can bring a fresh beauty . Deeper scarred with experience and blossoming in a way we didn’t expect .

sometimes , being determined to have an adventure results in a fall or injury or other unintended consequence . It rattled us is painful and becomes the focus rather than the thrill of the risk. I’ve found that recovery is faster when I focus on the Joy I had in making the choice to take on the adventure , slightly at the end of my comfort zone. The area where we can really feel in the flow … until we done ! But it’s still worth it .

visiting the extremes of nature I have to sometimes pinch myself to remember where I am and how the silence distances and the enormity of my surroundings continue to put us humans in our place .

even though we play with images as we endlessly play with colour – make up, nails, editing photographs , hair outfits , the true colours of nature , unedited , are just Stunning .

perhaps it’s a lesson to us to keep it simple and enjoy the natural hues and tones without adding filters and dyes . Here’s to nature in its natural form .

on the edge of South America , Chile presents as three parallel regions . In fact all the Andes mountains but weather and exposed to different geological forces making the Eastern border with Argentina towering mountains , the central valley a glacial remnant of flat rich agricultural farm land and the pacific edge the Andes exposed to sea levels and erosion forming the Chilean lakes .
it’s hard to find more gentle kind open and humble people . Proud of their culture and sitting on fruit vegetables and cattle that rival the world . The fruit and vegetables taste unlike anything else and the food prepared with stunning flavours and totally divine . How lucky am I to be here

looking through a different lens is a gift travel affords those who are able and willing to explore . The assault on the senses never fails to impress . The smell of warmth the touch of colour and the kaleidoscopic hubub of languages emotions and movement .
if you stay still and watch it’s a dizzying whirling blur is experiences . Move with it and you swim in a new tide . Travel lag . You soon catch up and flow as if always known .

Their tiny delicate heads peep out blinking into the frosty day . It’s so easy to say the first sign of spring , but it’s hard not to be cheery when you pass them in their joyful bands . I love them . My favourite flowers and a sign of the rebirth of nature

mmmmmm that smell of fresh snow ! The silence that descends when the city’s grey is quietened to white . Bliss . Then the creak of boots and the scrape of early risers opening the curtains of snow to see their way through . Tyres ; their eery sounds like glaciers moving as they tiptoe along the road. Wipers sprinkling arcs and showers of diamond white .
it’s a moment to pause and savour . And then wrap up warm and venture out !

these poor hearts . They beat through love they beat through passion they beat through heartache , loss, mundanity , work days holidays pain grief despair euphoria . Do they break when they overflow with extremities ? Can they continue to beat when they have to beat the seismic implosion of grief and loss of a loved one ? I suppose they beat on with a dull numb ache . My heart is stronger than me and dares to beat on . Repairing healing day by day giving back life and hope . My heart ♥️
