Starting something new seems daunting at first , I spent too much time worrying if I was good enough . Actually I just really enjoyed doing things at my own pace and finding out where I was happiest . Just standing and watching the waves and the changing colours . I wasn’t alone !

A week on a photo retreat on the Isle of Harris slowed me

down and made me look more closely at the world around me. No words of wisdom , but the pure joy of looking at colours and movement and history and how the simple things can make us so happy
